SHIPPING POLICY - THE BASICS
Shipping costs and delivery time – Francisco La Dale Panama Coffee
At Francisco La Dale, we proudly bring you premium coffee straight from Panama, shipped worldwide with the same trusted logistics partners as Dutch Expat Shop: PostNL, DHL, FedEx, and DPD. Thanks to sharp tariff agreements and the large volume of packages we ship every year, we can continue to offer exceptionally competitive shipping rates anywhere in the world.
Due to rising costs and surcharges from our logistics partners, we have been forced to adjust our shipping costs. We always charge the actual shipping costs, and our calculator in the shopping cart determines this based on a set weight matrix. Still, we are confident that our rates remain highly competitive and hard to beat.
Weight categories
To make it easier for you, Francisco La Dale uses seven weight categories: 2 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, 15 kg, 20 kg, 25 kg, and 30 kg (maximum package weight). If your order exceeds 30 kg, an additional package will be added. If you still have space left in your package, we recommend combining your order with others nearby to maximize savings.
Processing & delivery
Once your payment has been confirmed, your order will be processed. We aim to have all orders ready for shipment and delivered to our logistics partners within three (3) business days. If unforeseen circumstances delay your order, we will notify you by email.
Delivery times vary by country and are shown in the shipping calculator (excluding holidays). Please note that delivery times are indicative, not guaranteed, as delays by PostNL, DHL, FedEx, or DPD are beyond our control.
Insurance

Packages shipped within the EU are automatically insured up to €500 (products + shipping).

Packages shipped outside the EU are automatically insured up to €200.
If your order exceeds €200 in value, we recommend splitting your products over two or more packages.
Customs
For shipments outside the EU, your order may be subject to VAT and/or import duties upon arrival. Any resulting costs are the responsibility of the customer. Since import regulations differ by country and may change frequently, please check with your local customs office to ensure the products you order (including our premium Panamanian coffee) can be imported.
Track & Trace
Every package comes with a Track & Trace number, so you can follow your shipment online at any time. As soon as your package leaves our warehouse, we will send you the barcode number by email.
